Childbirth Education Express Course
Join us for a weekend childbirth education course! Taught by Ali Sugarman, certified Doula, this interactive, community-building class will leave you feeling prepared and empowered for your birth.
February 8th and 9th 10am-2pm
Learn about physiological birth, the stages of labor, positions and comfort measures to support the birth process, common hospital interventions, how to prepare for a home-birth, mind-body-spirit integration, postpartum wellness and more!

Infant Massage Class
Join us once every few months on a Saturday for a sweet class about infant massage:
Instructed by Jeny Jones, LMT

This drop-in class will teach you all you need to know about massaging your sweet babe and more! This class is for parents with babies who are pre-crawling, but the techniques you learn can be applied with modifications with your children as they grow!
A second caregiver is encouraged to attend the classes at no additional charge.

Infant massage has been shown to:
promote bonding and verbal and non-verbal communication
bring relief to gas, other digestive discomforts and growing pains
improve sleep patterns
stimulate the growth and functioning of numerous bodily systems including the nervous system, immune system and digestive system.
For the caregiver, some of the benefits include:
a better understanding of your baby
reading and respecting cues
improved self-esteem and confidence
higher levels of relaxing hormones like oxytocin and prolactin, which can be helpful in the stimulation of lactation and better sleep.
