Side by side support with an infant feeding specialist in the comfort of your home allows for a gentle, spontaneous sharing of wisdom and insight about feeding your baby. Infant feeding support can be accessed anytime during pregnancy and postpartum, building a personalized plan that can ebb and flow as your and your baby’s needs change. Research shows that in-home support increases new mother’s confidence while reducing their stress and expectations around feeding.

Infant Feeding Support Team

Our team of IBCLCs (Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultants) can educate on the physiology of newborns and feeding, breastfeeding supply and latch, treatment options for clogged ducts and mastitis, and more. IBCLCs are trained to handle a wide range of breastfeeding issues and are a valuable resource for families seeking to establish or maintain a successful feeding plan for their baby.

Insurance Coverage of Visits

We partner with The Lactation Network that covers clients with specific insurance plans at 100% for their initial infant feeding visit, as well as needed follow ups to be determined by their lactation consultant. Some plans that have been covered in the past are: Blue Cross PPO, Blue Shield PPO, Anthem PPO and United Healthcare (usually in-home only, not virtual). The insurance plans are constantly changing so please click below to check your coverage, and know no matter if approved or not, we’re here to support you! See below for out-of-pocket rates. Please note that while these visits are covered by insurance, there may be a service fee of $50 if you're outside our primary service area.
