Lauren Shuler
Lauren is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Like so many before her, Lauren first developed a passion for breast/chestfeeding while pregnant with her first child. The lack of evidence-based information and compassionate care pushed her to put a hold on her engineering career and pursue lactation after the birth of her second child in mid-2020. Lauren also co-facilitates racial equity trainings for local government, and is especially passionate about equity in the lactation and infant feeding space. She hopes to improve the quality of and access to care for everyone, though especially those in historically marginalized communities. Lauren lives with her partner, two kids, and sometimes a foster kiddo. They can all be found galavanting around outside, swimming, or generally adventuring together.
Lauren is available for:
Milk Cafe - Wednesdays 10:30a at BB+HH Classroom
infant feeding support specialty visits (in-person and virtual)
postpartum doula day visits
