Courtney Rodriguez
Courtney Moore Rodriguez is a Certified Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Educator, and Certified Infant Sleep Specialist. She has been working as a doula since 2013, and can’t imagine doing anything else.
Courtney’s call to doula work started in 2007 after the birth of her first baby, Luca. She found herself at home alone with a tiny newborn and a painful c-section scar, struggling to breastfeed, and not knowing who to call for help. As her family grew, Courtney became more and more passionate about breastfeeding and all things postpartum. She was certified as a postpartum doula and lactation educator in 2013 and has supported over 100 families since. In 2021, Courtney realized that the number one thing she found herself assisting families with was sleep challenges. So, she obtained an additional certification as an Infant & Family Sleep Educator.
The importance of a support system in those early days can’t be understated, and it can be hard to ask for help. Courtney’s philosophy is to meet families where they are, offer strategies and solutions, and give parents the confidence to find what works for their family. A postpartum visit looks different everyday, and for every family. Courtney prioritizes staying on top of the latest research and products in order to give families the best opportunity to make educated decisions.
When she is not supporting families, Courtney loves to spend time with her husband and 3 children. They enjoy the outdoors in their home state of Colorado, and are on a quest to visit as many National Parks as they can.
