Makenzie is originally from a small town outside Kansas City, Missouri. She has fallen in love with the mountains and is so grateful to call Colorado home for the past decade. With 15 years of experience as a nanny, Makenzie has a deep understanding of infant care, family dynamics, and the transitions that come with welcoming a new baby. Now a certified birth doula and postpartum educator, she is passionate about supporting families through the profound experiences of childbirth and early parenthood. She brings a blend of evidence-based knowledge and a gentle, intuitive approach to her care. Her goal is to meet each family exactly where they are, offering support that honors their unique needs with compassion and respect. When she's not working you can find Makenzie lost in nature, listening to records snuggling her sweet cat, or continuing her education of herbalism and yoga.
